I replaced my 10yo Ray Ban slim aviators with this pair recently. Amazon had a good price on these; and they are a great deal when compared with other name-brand polarized glasses. I would not recommend them for driving if your dashboard has a lot of LCD displays, the polarization will effect visibility of the LCD at certain angles.

I use them while driving (only my radio display is LCD) and all around bright conditions. They are light and functional and they work very well for me. Only con is that because they are frameless, I tend to get them smugged up from normal handling, so I keep the sunglasses cleaning cloth (supplied) handy
